How to report on server groups?
Modified By Admin on 6/24/2009 1:19:15 PM)

An Introspect customer posted this question to support and I thought I'd share the answer...

I am currently setting up/running a few different reports against out Citrix 4.5 data collector.  Any suggestions on what reports to create?
1)      Unique Sessions per server based on a group of 8 servers just recently brought online  per customer request for their application which was migrated from Fat Client to Citrix

2)      Per a group of 26 servers, Number of unique user sessions (no duplicates users) per application hosted on the group of servers

Answer:

You should create a group of servers and run your report based on that group. This allows you to summarize unique users and session starts for the group. You can always click on the Server tab and then check Expand in the report generator to show each individual server.  To create a group, right click on your usage database and choose what kind of group to create. Give the group a name and select the servers for the group. To select the group in the report generator, click on Server tab and then on the small square icon with the “double face”
