When I imported some new templates all the templates show up twice. And the service stopped. When I closed the MMC the duplicates went away upon reopening. Is this something to be concerned about?
This is a known problem with MMC 3.0 that’s why after templates are imported, we stop the service and ask you to Close Snap-in in a message displayed. Once you reopen the console, everything will be correctly displayed.
